Lori Weckesser, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Lori Weckesser, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a boardcertified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who delivers personcentered care through individualized treatment plans encompassing brief psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. She is adept at diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and ADHD, in both outpatient and telemedicine settings. 

Dr. Weckesser earned her Associate in Nursing from Ona M. Wilcox College of Nursing (1997) and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Connecticut State University. She subsequently completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification at Fairfield University. Prior to her advanced practice role, she gained valuable experience across diverse healthcare environments, ranging from administration and skilled nursing to memory care and mental health services. 

Committed to expanding community access to mental health resources, Dr. Weckesser is passionate about enhancing patient wellbeing through evidencebased interventions. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, walking her dogs, crocheting, and reading.
