Compliance with DEA Regulations
In adherence to the latest DEA regulations, particularly the temporary extensions of telemedicine flexibilities for the prescription of controlled substances during the COVID-19 public health emergency, Advanced TelePsych ensures:
Telemedicine Flexibility: Our PMHNPs leverage telemedicine to provide accessible and timely mental health care. This includes the prescription of controlled substances under the extended telemedicine flexibilities granted by the DEA.
Controlled Substance Prescriptions: All prescriptions for controlled substances are issued in compliance with DEA regulations. This includes initial evaluations, follow-up appointments, and necessary documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
Extended Flexibilities: As per the Federal Register notice on October 10, 2023, telemedicine flexibilities for prescribing controlled substances have been temporarily extended. This allows our PMHNPs to continue providing necessary treatments without requiring an initial in-person visit.
Regulatory Compliance: We ensure all prescriptions meet the standards set by the DEA, including maintaining accurate records and following protocols for telehealth consultations.
